VP3241 LED light fixture for signposts

The lighting of signposts can be implemented in an energy efficient manner by using the modular LED technology of Valopaa Ltd. The VP3241 LED light fixture has solutions for both new installation sites and for modernization of old light fixtures. The standard product comes with new case, thus being suitable for new installations and replacing old light fixtures.
As for the modernization, Valopaa Ltd offers LED change kits for Elektroskandia´s model H-8960 and Idman´s model 80722. The body of the light fixture is preserved, and the change kit substitutes the old grid, lamp and reflector, utilizing the points of attachment of the grid. The VP3241 LED light fixture produces a more even light distribution than old mercury vapor lamps. Three different efficiencies available.
In the pictures above the VP3241 LED change kit has been installed to Elektroskandia H-8960 body. At the test site, the light fixtures of the white signpost have two LED modules, and those of the blue signpost have three LED modules.
For a LED light fixture, it is important to have good thermal management. The heat is dissipated from electronics with the heat transfer capability of the aluminum body, which has led on to high energy efficiency and reliability. Durable lighting capability is achieved with the help of high class LEDs and the low level strain that is put on them. The LED modules and the connection device of the light fixture are changeable, and they are encapsulated against dust and moisture.
